December 12, 2001 — The original Ocean's Eleven is older than Steven Soderbergh, not to mention most of the cast in this remake. Yet, the title is still synonymous with hip (or "hep," if you were around for the 1960 original) coolness. In that movie, The Rat Pack pretty much just played themselves (and played piano, played cards...). Here, the actors actually act. There aren't huge stretches, but the ensemble cast does well with distinguishing characteristics.
