There were many about movies to come and some that have been out for awhile. FILM CLIPS: Capsule reviews of current movies; stars range from zero to four... "JURASSIC PARK III" Director Joe Johnston smoothly takes over the Michael Crichton/Steven Spielberg dinosaur franchise, returning Sam Neill's Raptor-tested paleontologist and a classy little ensemble to monster island in search of a missing boy. High in adventure and dinosaur realism, a bit short on raw thrills. But watch those pterodactyls. Laura Dern briefly reprises her charming naturalist from the first installment. Scarily ferocious, but pretty much blood-free. Rated PG-13. Running time: 90 minutes. THREE STARS |
