New Film Score Review

SUBMITTED BY MrSnuggles

October 17, 2001 — Soundtrack.net has a well written review based on Jerry Goldsmith's newest score from Rod Lurie's new film, "The Last Castle."

Click The Link below to read the full article!

"The score by Jerry Goldsmith is a fine one, with a notable main theme. "The Castle" allows us to hear this main theme in its entirety. A solo trumpet (adamantly performed by Malcolm McNab) is soon joined in by military percussion and horns. The theme makes a bold statement, and is both somber and respectful."
